About Youth Opportunities Africa

Youth Opportunities Africa (YOA) is a flagship project of the Young Farmers Organization dedicated to bridging the gap between African youth and life-changing opportunities. We provide access to scholarships, internships, career guidance, leadership workshops, and both digital and physical training sessions to empower youth across the continent.

ICCR Scholarship 2026–2027 (India Government)

Description: The ICCR Scholarship, offered by the Government of India through the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), provides international students with the opportunity to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs in top Indian universities.

Eligibility:

AfCFTA Agribusiness SME Matchmaking Programme 2026

Description: This programme supports agribusiness Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to expand trade across Africa and beyond under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Generation Connect Young Leadership Programme 2026–2027

Description: The Generation Connect Young Leadership Programme, led by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in partnership with Huawei, empowers young leaders to design and implement digital development projects in their communities. The programme provides training, mentorship, and funding to support innovative solutions that promote digital inclusion and community impact.

Eligibility:

  • Aged between 18–28 years
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a STEM or related field
  • Strong interest in digital development and community impact
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
